The Penthouse

LOCATION: White Rock

This couple wished for a functional space while incorporating a sexy feel. The Wishlist included a separate shower, freestanding tub, two sinks and a bright minimalistic, European feel. The 30-year-old dark, small space had a drop-in soaker tub, toilet and single sink. Some of the challenges included the location of the windows and two exterior walls, making it hard to relocate the plumbing and an electrical panel close to full capacity. After Cara Interiors sourcing a 55” freestanding tub, this not only became the solution but also the inspiration, allowing for a seamless walk in shower with a bright open feel. This project won a national gold for bathroom design.
