Cara Lawson is a distinguished interior designer, recognized for her exceptional talent and innovative approach to design. Holding an AKBD designation and accredited by the National Kitchen & Bath Association, Cara brings a wealth of expertise and professionalism to every project.

As the principal owner and designer of Cara Interiors, founded in 2007, Cara has built a top award-winning boutique firm renowned for its intimate client collaborations. Her firm transforms spaces into canvases that reflect clients' lifestyles, infused with sophistication and beauty. Cara's work has been showcased in prestigious settings such as the PNE Prize Show Home and featured in various media outlets, including Peace Arch News, BC Home Magazine, Love Magazine, and Indulge Magazine. In addition to her design work, Cara has recently been featured in two notable books: "Pursuit 365" as a female entrepreneur and "Inspired Westcoast Living" for her outstanding work.

Tina

Administration and Office Manager

With over 15 years of experience in administration, Tina has honed her skills in managing the intricate details of office operations. Her extensive background includes working with stone fabricators, where she has become a cornerstone in ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes.

Tina's passion lies in the action behind the scenes. She thrives on organizing, coordinating, and facilitating every aspect of the office environment, making sure everything runs seamlessly. Her dedication to her craft is evident in her meticulous attention to detail and her commitment to excellence.

But what truly sets Tina apart is her unwavering commitment to her clients. She takes pride in helping clients with every special need and request, ensuring their satisfaction and peace of mind. Shar

Designer

Shar brings a fresh perspective to the world of design. As a graduate of the BCIT Residential Diploma Program, Shar has developed a strong foundation in residential design principles and techniques. This educational background, combined with practical experience, makes Shar a valuable asset in creating innovative and functional spaces.

Before stepping into the design industry, Shar traveled to several countries, meeting people from diverse cultures and traditions. These experiences broadened her horizons and enriched her design aesthetic, allowing her to incorporate global influences into her work.

Shar has honed her skills working in a residential and commercial countertop and cabinet store, where she specialized in custom-made projects. This role allowed Shar to blend creativity with technical expertise, delivering unique solutions tailored to each client's vision.

In addition to her design experience, Shar worked as an associate for Private Banking. In this role, she tailored personal day-to-day banking solutions for clients, demonstrating an exceptional ability to understand and meet individual needs. This experience has equipped Shar with a keen eye for detail and a client-focused approach, which she now brings to her design projects.

With a unique blend of design expertise, client-focused service, and a global perspective, Shar is dedicated to creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also deeply personal and functional.

Eden

Designer

Eden, originally from South Africa, brings a unique and vibrant perspective to the design world. With a background from BCIT, Eden completed her diploma in Interior Design, equipping her with the skills and knowledge to tackle diverse and complex projects in both the residential and commercial sectors.

Eden spent four years gaining invaluable experience in the custom cabinetry industry. This hands-on work has allowed her to refine her craftsmanship and develop an eye for detail, ensuring that each piece she designs is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

What truly sets Eden apart is her love for the fast-paced environment of the construction industry. She thrives on the dynamic nature of her work, where no two days are ever the same. This passion for the ever-changing landscape of construction fuels her creativity and drives her to deliver innovative solutions.

Beyond her professional life, Eden has a deep appreciation for music. Her favorite hobby is playing the cello, a passion that brings balance and harmony to her busy schedule. This artistic pursuit reflects her dedication to creativity and precision, qualities that shine through in her design work.

Eden's blend of international experience, specialized education, and dynamic industry involvement makes her a versatile and passionate designer. She is committed to creating spaces that are not only visually stunning but also uniquely tailored to each client's needs and aspirations.

Jessica

Administrative & Design Assistant

Jessica brings the strength of strong organizational skills and attention to detail at Cara Interiors. Her studies include a Bachelor of Arts and international studies.  Jessica resided in Paris, France, teaching English for three years and enriching her diversity and worldly experience. We are very excited to have Jessica as a key part of our team.
